    I need some brightness in my heart
    And clarity in my head
    And not the darkness

    I want to see things clear
    Not muddled with my heavy thoughts and heart

    With my colours I paint
    And fill my heart
    With the sun – the moon
    And the brightest stars

    Het licht schijnt 
    Soms is het zoeken 
    En verschuilt ze zich 
    achter hoge muren 

    Soms zie ik het licht schijnen 
    Maar staat er een gigantische grote blokkade op mijn weg er naar toe

    En dan opeens vallen de muren weg 
    Lossen de blokkades op
    En sta ik midden in het stralende licht

  • Ik vul mij

    Ik vul mij
    met vogelgeluiden 
    de warme zon
    de schittering op het water
    En voor even 
    valt mijn wereld stil
